Forsht, sr., of Juniata, died on Sunday in a Chicago hospital, after two years battle with pulmonary tuberculosis. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Martha Bailey and three children, Harry in France, Edith and Ida at home in Chicago. Mr. Bailey was born on July 4, 1864, and grew to manhood in the community now known as East Altoona. He was a son of Samuel and Elizabeth Bailey both deceased, and his father was for many years identified with the old Blair Furnace operations as stable boss. He leaves two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. S. I. Forsht, sr., of 712 Second street, Juniata, David and Charles Bailey, of Morrisdale, and Miss Ida Bailey, of Washington, D.C. The remains of the deceased are en route east and will be brought to the home of the sister in Juniata for funeral service. Definite arrangements will be announced later.
