JACOB BAIR,

A resident of Hartville, O., died this morning, of a complication of 
diseases, after a long illness, according to a telegram received by W. 
H. Stiffler, Hollidaysburg hardware merchant. Mr. Bair's mother, Mrs. 
Mary Stiffler Bair was born and raised in the Loop, Frankstown township 
but spent her mature years in Ohio where she raised her family. Mr. 
Bair was about sixty years old and his wife and a family of grown 
children survive. He was a farmer by occupation. He often visited Blair 
county relatives of whom he had many, his last visit being in July when 
he attended the Stiffler reunion at Canoe Creek.
