MRS. DESSA BAIRD

Widow of Aiden Baird, died at 2.40 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the 
home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Reese, 515 
Pittsburgh avenue, Steubenville, O., of a complication of ailments. 
Deceased was a daughter of Frederick J. and Sarah A. Wilt and was born 
in the Eldorado section on Nov. 24, 1861. She was united in marriage 
with Mr. Baird of this city, who died a number of years ago. Mrs. Baird 
resided in Altoona all her life until last August when she went to her 
daughter's home. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Reese, and 
one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Annie Beck of Greenwood, Joseph F., 
Fred and Elmer Wilt, all of this city. Services will be conducted at 
the home in Steubenville tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The body will 
be cremated on Thursday, by a request of the deceased. Mrs. Baird was a 
member of the Trinity Lutheran church in Juniata.
