CITY AND COUNTY BRIEFS.

  Jacob W. Baird, of 1329 Eighteenth avenue, a tinner, died on Tuesday night 
at his residence, from the effects of a fall.  He was aged 42 years, 1 months 
and 12 days and leaves a wife and children.
