All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ MISS ANNETTA AMELIA BAKER Well known resident of Roaring Spring, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Robert Garber last night at 9.20 o'clock, following an illness that extended over a period of seven years, two of which she was confined to her bed. Miss Baker, a resident of the borough for thirty- five years, was a daughter of Andrew C. and Susanna Zook Baker, both deceased, and was born in Bedford county on Jan. 1, 1873. Fifty-two years ago, the family moved to the farm in Taylor township now occupied by a brother, Elias Baker, where they remained for a period of seventeen years, when they removed to Roaring Spring. Miss Baker attended school in Bedford county and Taylor township. After going to the borough thirty-five years ago she became affiliated with the Bare Memorial Church of God and when able attended the services as well as the Sunday school. Since the death of her father eighteen years ago, she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Robert Garber. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: George Baker of Queen, Charles Baker of Duncansville, R.D., Elias Baker of Taylor township, Bertram Z. Baker of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Fred Himes, Mrs. John Yingling and Mrs. Robert Garber, all of Roaring Spring. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of her sister, Mrs. Robert Garber, Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of her pastor, Rev. H. R. Lobb, assisted by Rev. J. W.
