Baker, a well known resident of the Seventh ward, died at 11:50 o'clock last night at his home, 106 Willow avenue, after an illness of six weeks of uremia poisoning. Deceased was born near New Enterprise, Bedford county, on May 10, 1882. He had resided in the city for a number of years and was employed as an inspector at the Pennsylvania car shops. He was a firm believer in Christ, as the Saviour of Sinners. He is survived by his wife and three children, Martha Olivet, aged 9 years; John Joseph, aged 8 years and Josephine Gertrude, aged 6 years. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Baker, of this city, and these brothers and sisters, Mrs. A. F. Puckle of East End; Emory D., of Homestead; Mrs. Guy Manley and Aden S. Baker, of Altoona. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Private interment in Rose Hill cemetery. (Roaring Spring papers please copy.)
