JANE BAKER Who resided at 406 Sixteenth street, Duncansville for more than 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock after one year's illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chester E. Hammaker of Duncansville R.D. 1, with whom she had made her home for the past three years. She was born in Bedford county March 13, 1876, a daughter of Phillip and Barbara (Klotz) Brown, and was married to Charles F. Baker Jan. 30, 1895 in Taylor township. Mr. Baker preceded her in death. Surviving are three children, Clair and Mrs. Alma Hammaker, both of Duncansville R.D. 1, and Mrs. Florence Greenleaf of Duncansville. Two daughters, Lillian Mae who died in infancy, and Mrs. Cleo Teeters are deceased. Surviving also are 24 grandchildren, 31 great- grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. William Ayres of Roaring Spring, and a brother, Lloyd Brown of Brownsville, Tex., now visiting in Roaring Spring. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran church and a life member of the Women's Missionary society. Friends will be received at the home of Mrs. C. E. Hammaker after 7 o'clock this evening.
