MARGARET L. BALL

  Mrs. Margaret L. Ball, 75, Rosebud, Coalport RD, died Sunday, March 24, 1996, 
at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
  She was born April 11, 1920, in Snow Shoe, the daughter of the late William 
and Bertha Mae (Bower) Snow.  She married Wilfred G. Ball.  He died Dec. 8, 
1952.
  Mrs. Ball was a member of the Coalport Presbyterian Church.
  She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Coalport Veterans of 
Foreign Wars and the Coalport Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.
  Surviving are four daughters: Rulla Hillyer of Blue Ridge Summit, Ruth Ann 
Shomo of Rosebud, Darlene Vereshack of Smokerun and Rhonda Barrett of Mahaffey 
RD; three sons:  Wayne Ball of Coalport RD, Dennis Gates of Beaver Valley, 
Flinton, RD, and Kenneth of Fallentimber RD; a brother, Victor, in North 
Carolina; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  A son Wilfred (Bud) preceded her in death.
BALL -- Services for Margaret L. Ball of Rosebud, Coalport RD, will be held at 2 
p.m. Wednesday at GIBBONS FUNERAL HOME, Coalport, by the Rev. Robert 
Dunkelberger.  Interment at Utahville Cemetery, Coalport RD.  Friends will be 
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. until the time of the 
services Wednesday at the funeral home.  Preceded in death by sisters:  
Patricia, Ruth Kaiser, Frances, Mary Baer, Anna and Genevieve; and brothers:  
William I. Jr., Eugene, Jack, Harve, Jerome, Charles and Advirn L.
