All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ William Henry Ball Died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 1410 Twelfth avenue, from the breaking of a blood vessel in the brain. He had only been bedfast since Sunday. Deceased was 41 years of age and learned the trade of a painter in the shops of the Pennsylvania railroad company in this city. For some time past he had not been in the company's employ, but was engaged in outside work. Besides his wife and six children, his mother, Mrs. Eliza Smith, of Philadelphia, and two sisters, Mrs. T. L. Scott and Mrs. Carrie Smith, of Philadelphia, survive him. Fred Ball, of this city, is a half brother of the deceased. The funeral will take place from his late residence on Friday at 10 a.m. Services will be conducted at the First Lutheran church, after which the remains will be laid to rest in Fairview cemetery.
