Balsinger, aged 89 years, and one of the best known residents of this city, died at the home of his son, H. A. Balsinger, of 811 Howard avenue. Death was attributed to heart trouble. The deceased was born in Johnstown on August 14, 1836. In his younger days he had been a locomotive engineer on western railroads. He had been a resident of this city for the past 40 years, and was the last of his immediate family. Surviving are one son, H. A., of this city, and three daughters, Mrs. Helen Parker and Mrs. Harry Baker, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Homer Helfrick, of Wheeling, W. Va. He was a member of the First Baptist church and Bible school. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Private interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
