CHARLES H. BANDIS

Of 1225 12th Ave., died at 8 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital 
after an extended illness. He was born at Scotia June 18, 1892, a son 
of John and Hilda (Selkey) Bandis, and married Ella Blair Aug. 20, 
1920. Surviving are his wife, a sister and brother, Mrs. Marie Veder of 
Pittsburgh and Paul of Owego, N.Y. He was a member of St. Luke's 
Episcopal Church and retired in 1954 as a machinist helper in the car 
shops. Friends will be received at the Axe Funeral Home after 7 p.m. 
today.
