Mrs. Hannah H. Baptst.

Hannah H., wife of John W. Bapst, of 2906 Sighth [sic] avenue,
Altoona, died at the Altoona hospital Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock
of tubercular peritonitis.  Mrs. Bapst was born in this county 47
years ago, was of Methodist faith.  She is survived by her husband and
one daughter, Mrs. Minnie McCartney, of Juniata; two brothers,
William, of Duquesne, and Harry Root of Tipton, Pa.; one half-brother,
Benjamin Root, of Birmingham, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Haley, of
Duncansville, and Mrs. Lizzie Haller, of Altoona.  Private services
were held from the residence on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev.
Gordon A. Williams officiated and private interment was made in the
Oak Ridge cemetery.
