NELLIE BARLEY Of 228 Poplar street, Roaring Spring, suffered a heart attack while attending Napier Mennonite church and died at the Bedford Memorial hospital yesterday. She was born in East St. Clair Township, Bedford County, May 29, 1899, a daughter of William and Ida (Davis) Hazlett and was married to Abram D. Barley, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Henry of Gap, Mrs. Edith Roach of Cumberland, MD and Frances at home, four sons, Lt. William W. of Portland, Ore, Sgt. Abram D. Jr. of Harrisburg, Gerald A. at Sampson Air Force Base, N.Y. and Charles I. at home; one brother, Charles and two sisters, Mrs. Elva Clitis and Pearl Hazlett, all of Bedford, and seven grandchildren. She was a member of the Roaring Spring Mennonite church and the American War Mothers and served as a teacher in the adult Bible class of the church.
