(Wyan) Barner of 1006 Second avenue, died of a heart condition this morning at 5.45 o'clock after an illness of more than a year. He was born May 21, 1885, at Rote, Clinton county, son of Joel and Lucinda (Imhoff) Barner, and was married June 6, 1906, at Bellefonte. Surviving are his widow, a son, Edward M. at Fort Jackson, S.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret L. Burk at home; a grandson, William Miles Burk; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Aikey. Mr. Barner was a member of the United Evangelical church and treasurer of the Sunday school and for the past fifteen years a prominent church worker. He was a member of Archie Maxwell lodge, I.O.O.F., and had been employed as a machinist in the Twelfth street shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. BARNER - Funeral services for the late William Edward Barner of 1006 Second avenue will be conducted by Rev. H. C. Kleigel of the United Evangelical church. Services will be held at the home Monday at 1 p.m. with further services at 3:30 p.m. in the United Evangelical church, Bellefonte, Pa.
