ROBERT GERALD BARNES.

  Robert Gerald Barnes, son of Ford E. (deceased) and Mary J. Barnes, 
died at the Providence hospital, Detroit Mich., on February 7.  He was 
operated on at the institution for appendicitis on February 1 and 
failed to rally from the ordeal.  He was born in Detroit, November 21, 
1906, and was a grandson of Mrs. J. Laubacher, of this city.  The 
funeral was held in Detroit on Saturday.
