BARNETT, Widow of David Barnett, and for the past twenty-five years a resident of Cross Keys, died at the home of her son Harvey B. Miller, at Cross Keys, Sunday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock, death being attributed to complications. She was born in Freedom township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Harker, Dec. 11, 1847. On Dec. 31, 1871, she was united in marriage with Jacob W. Miller. To this union, one son, Harvey B. Miller, was born. On April 5, 1881, she was united in marriage with George Kring, who died some years later and she was united in marriage on Aug. 28, 1892, with David Barnett, who died 19 years ago. Sue is survived by one son, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Albert Harker of Lakemont, and two sisters, Mrs. William B. Butler of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Daniel G. Ressler of East Freedom. She was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran church. Funeral services will be conducted in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren by her pastor Rev. Isaac Krider, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the Carson Valley cemetery. Mrs. Barnett was a sister of the late Joseph Harker, who died recently in Duncansville. Altoona Mirror, Monday, December 14, 1925
