MARILLA (ROSE) BARNHART July 12, 1945 Wife of Grant L. Barnhart of 1310 Eighteenth street, died this morning at her home following an extended illness. She was a daughter of William and Amanda (McIntire) Rose and was born in Altoona, March 27, 1882. Surviving are the husband, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Mae Burket of Altoona, Miss. Anna Barnhart of Wilmington, Del., and M/Sgt. Robert Barnhart, with the army of the occupation in Germany; two brothers and one sister, Robert S. Rose and Benjamin Rose, both of Altoona and Mrs. Margaret Sturgis of Wilmington, Del. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and of the Ladies of the Maccabees. Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery Archie Claar Obituary Collection, Volume CO46, Page 20
