MARY ANN BARR Died at 6.30 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. V. P. Schmidt, 2600 Eleventh street, after a brief illness. She was born at Beavertown, O., April 4, 1854, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gobble. Surviving is the daughter at whose home she died. Two other children, a son and daughter, preceded her in death. Surviving are three grandchildren, Mrs. Thomas Stewart of Middletown, Pa., and Ora and Carl Smith, both of East St. Louis. Two great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Barr was a member of the Zanesville, O., Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock Tuesday evening. BARR - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Barr of 2600 Eleventh street, will be held at the Mauk and Yates funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. W. L. Croydin?, pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge. Interment in the mausoleum at Fairview cemetery. Friends are being received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
