HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa., April 18. - S. Gibson Barr, former Burgess of this city, died here this evening, aged 59 years. Mr. Barr was a prominent Democrat, having served as delegate to many State and National conventions, and was one of the original Bryan men of the section. He served as postmaster of this city under President Cleveland, and was a brother of Albert D. Barr, of Charlestown, W.Va., a prominent Democrat of that section.
