MRS. SARAH E. BARRICK

Widow of William B. Barrick, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. 
W. Franklin of 406 Howard avenue, yesterday at 3.30 a.m., after an 
extended illness.  She was born at Cedar Rapids, Ia., on May 11, 1854, 
a daughter of Thomas and Mary (Shultz) Hicks.  Her husband died in 
1921.  Surviving are two daughters and one son, Mrs. B. W. Franklin, 
Mrs. H. P. Jenkins and Ellis H. Barrick, both of Altoona, and three 
granddaughters.  Mr. Barrick was a member of the Fourth Lutheran 
church.  Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home.

BARRICK - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ellen (Hicks) Barrick of 406 
Howard avenue, will be held from the Axe funeral home Wednesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Ralph Linda.  Interment in 
Riverview cemetery, Huntingdon.  Friends will be received at the Axe 
funeral home after noon today.  Huntingdon papers please copy.
