Mrs. Kate Bartley Died Yesterday Afternoon.

  Yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock Mrs. Bartley, wife of Joseph 
Bartley, died suddenly at her home, 1925, Eleventh avenue of neuralgia 
of the heart.  She had been suffering for two weeks but was seriously 
ill but a few minutes.  The deceased was born at Williamsburg, May 6, -
--, --- she was married ten years ago and has resided in this city for 
eight years.  She was a member of St. John's Catholic church.  She is 
survived by her husband and four children, John, Mary, --th and 
Gertrude; also by her mother, Mrs. Mary Rhodes; one brother, --- 
Brantner, of Columbia, and one sister, Miss Tillie Brantner, of 
Hollidaysburg.

FUNERAL OF MRS. BARTLEY.

  The funeral of Mrs. Catharine Bartley will take place from her late 
home, 1925 Eleventh avenue, this morning at 8.30 o'clock, proceeding to 
St. John's Catholic church where mass will be celebrated.  Interment 
will be made in Calvary cemetery.
