He was born in Frederick, Md., and came to this city some years ago and was formerly employed as janitor at Kline Bros.' store. He was a member of the Methodist church and of the Puritan lodge, F. and A. M. Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Camille, of Philadelphia. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday, January 28, 1919, page 10
