MRS. ELLEN BATTLE

  Mrs. Ellen Battle, wife of Abner Battle, of 2103 Ninth avenue, died at 
Altoona hospital Saturday evening at 7:15 o'clock of a complication of 
diseases.  She was aged 38 years and is survived by her husband and several 
brothers and sisters.  She was a native of Mississippi.  She was wedded in 
1870. Funeral services will be held at Lafferty & Tobias chapel, 1010 
Chestnut avenue, at 3 p.m. today.  Burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
