Mrs. Hannah Batton died at her home at 1110 Church street yesterday, of old age. She would have reached her 83rd milestone had she lived until February 15. She was born February 15, 1836, and was the last of her family to pass away, and therefore is not survived by any brothers or sister. She is survived by two sons and three daughters: William, of Altoona; Thomas M., at home; Mrs. J. H. Walter, of Juniata, and Clara and Ella, at home. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. The deceased was a life long and consistent member of the Baptist church of Hollidaysburg [missing text]. She was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and was loved by all who knew her. The funeral services will be held at her late home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after which interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Monday, February 3, 1919, page 4 FUNERAL NOTICE.
