LORETTA J. BAUMGARDNER

Of 428 Maple Ave., died at 11:30 a.m. yesterday, after an extended illness. 
She was born in New Enterprise Oct. 27, 1881, a daughter of John and Jane 
(Reffner) Helsel, and was twice married, first to Simon K. Frederick, then 
to T. R. Baumgardner, both of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are two 
children, Jesse C. Frederick, in Florida, and Mrs. Muriel M. Kaylor of 
Altoona; one granddaughter, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Baumgardner was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. 
Friends will be received in the Stevens Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, 
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
