BEARD Mr. Beard, 63, of Box 247, Hollidaysburg RD 1, Linds Crossing, died unexpectedly at 11 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 1983, in his home. Mr. Beard was furloughed from Sylvania, after 30 years service. He was born Jan. 25, 1920, in Duncansville, the son of Charles and Sara (Steward) Beard, and Married Olive Hoover. Surviving are his wife, eight children: Gene of Hollidaysburg, Donald of Greenwood, Bernard of Williamsburg and Robert, Leon, Mrs. Kay Bush, Mrs. Nancy Bathurst and Mrs. Shirley Bimatre of Altoona, and many grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers and a sister: Mrs. Betty Diehl, William and Charles of Duncansville, and Jack of Altoona. Services for Frank Beard will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville, by the Rev. Carmon Sollenberger. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. More Survivors - Frank P.
