William Henry Beard

Of Locust street, Williamsburg died at 9:45 o'clock last night at his 
home. Mr. Beard was born March 13th, 1867,at Akron, O. a son of Jacob 
and Maria (Kemerer) Beard.  Surviving are his wife, the former Verna 
May Estep, whom he married June 19th, 1917, at Hollidaysburg; 10 
children, Mrs. Mary Hughes of Altoona, Mrs. Jennie Reigh of Buffalo, 
N.Y., Joseph of Tyrone, Mrs. Thelma Hughes of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Myrtle 
Fullerton of Denver, Colo. Mrs. Helen Leonard of Oremenia, Mrs. 
Annabelle Carper and John of Huntingdon and David and Paul of 
Williamsburg, and 26 grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the 
Bechtel funeral home, Williamsburg, after 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
