BEASTON Mrs. Hettie Jane Beaston, widow of John A. Beaston, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest B. Dawson, 524 West Twenty-First street, this morning at 2:40 o'clock, following a six week's illness with a heart condition. Mrs. Beaston was a daughter of McNair and Mary Elizabeth (Rupert) Wilson and was born at Academia, Juniata County, on April 27, 1859. On January 1, 1885, at Mifflintown, Pa., she was united in marriage with John A. Beaston who died in 1923. Mrs. Beaston had been a resident of the Seventh Ward Tyrone since 1891. She is survived by three children: Harry F. Beaston, Mrs. Ernest B. Dawson, Tyrone; and Mrs. Howard M. Foster, Norwood, Pa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was the last of her immediate family. She was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral services will be held at the Dawson home on Twenty-First street on Monday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Dr. Bert A. Salter, pastor of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Episcopal church, followed by burial in Grandview Cemetery. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 1, 1937
