Beatty and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Bowers of 927 Twenty-seventh street, died at noon on Tuesday of pneumonia at her home at Cape Charles, Va. She was born in this city on Oct. 3, 1881, and has resided in Cape Charles since her marriage sixteen years ago. Her husband was employed as chief clerk in the Pennsylvania railroad offices at Cape Charles. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by three children, Elizabeth, Kenneth and Catherine, one brother, Frank and one sister, Irene, wife of E. E. Buller of this city. The body will be brought to Altoona tomorrow afternoon and taken to the home of the parents, from where the funeral will take place on Friday afternoon. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
