Edith Bechdel, a native of Juniata residing near Howard, died at her home at 
9:30 a.m. yesterday, June 15, 1970, after an extended illness.  She was born 
Aug. 16, 1914, a daughter of William and Sylvia (Stouffer) Berry, and married 
Leroy Bechdel of Howard.  Surviving are her husband, three children, Mrs. Sara 
Louise Martin, in Florida, Fred and Duane of Howard; six grandchildren, and 
five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Grace Balasco and Theodore of Altoona, Mrs. 
Dorothy Bryan of Philadelphia, and the Rev. Clifford Berry of Levittown.  
Friends are being received in the Neff funeral Home, Howard.
