MRS. THELMA BECHTEL

Of 215 East Fourteenth street, Tyrone, died at 10.30 o'clock Saturday morning of 
a heart attack after an illness of two years. She was born Sept. 28, 1908, in 
Tyrone, the daughter of Philip K. and Lulu (Woomer) Miles and she was married 
July 29, 1925, to Fred Bechtel. Surviving are her parents, two daughters, Mrs. 
Carolyn Batcheler of Tyrone and Mrs. Jeannette Yeager of Mapleton, three 
brothers and one sister, Earl Miles of Western Springs, Ill., Capt. S. W. Miles 
of Washington, D.C., Mrs. John C. Chamberlain and Philip of Tyrone. She attended 
the Lutheran church and was a member of the American Legion auxiliary. Friends 
are being received at the Graham & Getz funeral home, Tyrone.
