He was born in Altoona May 31, 1896, a son of John and Minnie (Fetter) Beck, but moved to Youngstown 18 years ago and was employed by the Youngstown Sheet and Tube company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah (Etichon) Beck; two brothers, Clyde R., of Washington, D.C., and Harold E., of 425 Seventh avenue, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Barrington and Mrs. Thelma Moyer, both of Los Angeles, Calif.
