MRS. MARY J. BEEGLE

  Mrs. Mary J. Beegle, widow of John A. Beegle, died at 2 o'clock Saturday 
morning at her home in Newry of dropsy, in her 78th year.  Deceased was born 
September 13, 1840 spent her early life in Osterburg and had resided for the 
past 30 years at Newry.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Anna M. Seidel 
of Newry, and also by three sisters, Mrs. Amanda E. Smith, of Bedford, Mrs. 
Anna C. Oster, of Cumberland Valley and Mrs. Rachel E. Mock, of Newry, and by 
nine grandchildren and by three great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the 
Lutheran church.  Funeral services were conducted at Newry at 7:30 o'clock 
yesterday evening.  The remains will be taken to Osterburg at 12 o'clock noon 
today followed by interment in the Osterburg cemetery at 2:30 o'clock this 
afternoon.
