BEHE Of 112 Second avenue, died at his home at 7.40 o'clock this morning after an extended illness. He was born in Loretto on Nov. 8, 1865, a son of Henry and Catherine (McConnell) Behe, but had resided in Altoona for the past forty years. He was employed as a carpenter in the Altoona works freight shop, retiring on Nov. 8, 1926. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie (Itle) Behe; two daughters and one son, Mrs. Beatrice Wills of Loretto, Robert of the city and Mrs. Clara McGuire at Home; nine grandchildren, one brother and three sisters, Luke Behe of Erie, Mrs. Mary Yahner and Mrs. Katie Ebig, both of Loretto, and Mrs. Alice McNulty of York. Mr. Behe was a member of St. Mark's Catholic church where the funeral will be held Monday, with requiem mass at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made at Loretto. The body may be viewed at the home.
