Bell, of 1929 Fourteenth avenue, died at her home on Saturday afternoon a 5 o'clock, of a complication of diseases. She had been sick since July last. Mrs. Bell was a daughter of the late William Gafney, for many years a resident of this city, and was born at Summit, Cambria county, on March 19, 1865. On September 19, 1886, she was married to John B. Bell in this city. Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, as follows: Bessie, Stewart, Kathryn and Bertha; also, her mother, Mrs. Wm. Gafney, of 1931 Fourteenth avenue; three sisters: Mrs. J. M. Clark of 1931 Fourteenth avenue, Miss Agnes Gafney, who lived with the deceased, and Sister Miriam, of the Order of the Sisters of Charity, located at St. Agnes convent, Soho, Pittsburg, and two brothers: James and William Gafney of this city. The deceased was a member of St. John's parish and of the League of Sacred Heart. The remains were taken to Summit this morning, where mass was celebrated in the Catholic church a 9:30 this morning.
