JAMES BELL

  James Bell, a former machinist employed in the Altoona shops, died at the 
Blair county hospital at 10 o'clock yesterday morning after an illness covering 
a period of two years.  He was aged about 38 years.  He was a member of the 
P.R.R. Relief association and leaves no known relatives in this city.  The 
remains were taken in charge of Undertaker Stevens and the funeral will take 
place from the Stevens mortuary at a time to be announced later.
