All that was mortal of the late Hon. Judge Martin Bell, presiding judge of the several courts of Blair county and one of the best known jurists of the state was laid away in the tomb yesterday. The funeral took place during the afternoon and was attended by a large number of professional, business men and citizens of Tyrone and the county. There were also in attendance, prominent men from all sections of the state, and the funeral was undoubtedly one of the largest that has ever taken place within the borders of the county. The funeral look place at 1 o'clock with short services at the late home of the distinguished jurist which were afterwards followed by public services in the First Presbyterian Church. The interment was made In the Presbyterian Cemetery. The active casket bearers were A. A. Stevens Esq., Hon. C. O. Templeton; Hon. J. D. Hicks; W. I. Woodcock, Esquire; O. H. Hewitt Esq.; Thomas H. Greevy Esq.; Thomas C. Hare, Esq.; and Robert Henderson, Esq. The list of honorary pall bearers includes the names of some of the best known jurists of the state, several of whom at various times in their career have been closely associated with Judge Bell in the study of law and in the conducting of court. The state supreme court, the superior court and the several county courts in this vicinity were represented by judges. Honorary pallbearers: Hon. Robert von Moschizsker; Hon. George B. Orlady; Hon.
