Bender, died Friday evening at 8.45 o'clock at her home, 301 Washington avenue, Tyrone, death attributed to paralysis. She was a daughter of the late John F. and Mary Heverly Langenbacher. She was born on April 9, 1878, on the old Langenbacher farm near Tyrone and had resided in Tyrone most all of her life. She was twice married, first to Charles Williamson of Coalport, who passed away 17 years ago. On Jan. 3, 1930, she was married the second time to Mr. Bender, who survives with two step-children, Mrs. A. C. Richards of McKees Rocks and James Williamson of Belle Vernon, and four grandsons and the following brothers and sisters: Edgar Langenbacher, Mrs. D. P. Robinson and Charles Langenbacher of Tyrone and Ralph of Clarksburg, W.Va. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and a member of Miss Sarah Lowrie's Sunday school class. Funeral services were conducted at the home this morning at 10 o'clock in charge of Rev. Joseph A. Speer. Interment was made in Eastlawn cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Monday, July 31, 1933
