MRS. CATHERINE BENDER

Mrs. Catherine Bender, widow of Anthony Bender, died at 8:20 o'clock this 
morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Seymour of 400 Eleventh St., 
after an illness of several years of suffering from a complication of 
diseases.  She was born in Huntingdon County on September 10, 1850 and 
resided in this city for many years.  Her husband died in 1906.

She is survived by her six sons and two daughters:  Mrs. George Clymer of 
Trenton, N.J., John A. of Johnstown and William, Charles, Oscar, Louis, 
Joseph and Mrs. Mary Seymour of this city.  Also by two brothers:  John and 
Frank Harmon, both of this city.  She was a member of the St. Mary's German 
Catholic Church.  Interment will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery.
