JOHN A. BENDER

A retired Bethlehem Steel company employe, a native of Altoona, died at 
5 o'clock yesterday morning at his home in Johnstown.  He was born in 
Altoona Nov. 13, 1872, the son of Anthony and Catherine (Harmon) 
Bender.  His wife, Clotilda (Kephart) Bender, preceded him in death ten 
years ago.  Surviving are a brother and sister, Joseph Bender of 
Altoona and Mrs. W. J. Seymour of Tyrone.  Friends will be received at 
the Conway funeral home, Johnstown.
