MRS. THERESA BENDER.

  At twenty minutes of 11 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Theresa Bender 
died at her residence, No. 1109 Sixth avenue, aged 47 years, after a 
protracted illness, from consumption.  The deceased was a faithful and 
devout member of St. Mary's Catholic church.  She was the wife of Mr. 
Max Bender, deceased, and leaves four children - John, William, Mary 
and Conrad.  Her funeral will take place on Monday morning next.  
Services will be held over her remains on that morning at 9 o'clock and 
the interment will follow in St. Mary's cemetery.
