An Aged Citizen Passes to His Last Reward. James Benn, an aged and respected citizen, died at his home, 228 Second avenue, at 7.30 o'clock last evening, of dropsy and heart failure, after a lingering illness. The deceased was born in Centre county 66 years and 11 months ago. He has been a resident of this city since 1882, and was, during the past six years, employed as janitor at the Second United Brethren church, of which he was a member. The deceased was married forty-six years ago to Miss Sarah Irvin. The following children survive: John, of Altoona; Mrs. Martha Hunt, of Milroy, and Mrs. Annie Ruble, of the same place; Mrs. Maggie Adair, of Lewistown; Willis, of Urbana, O.; George, of Georgetown, Mifflin county; Joseph and Perry, of this city. Rev. S. S. Hough, his pastor, will be in charge of the funeral services, which will be held at the Second United Brethren church at 2 p.m. Monday. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
