Mrs. Jessie Benner

Died at her residence, 509 Seventh avenue, at 10:30 o'clock last night, 
aged 48 years, 1 month and 27 days.  She had been afflicted with cancer 
for several years and during the last two years was a great sufferer.  
She was confined to her bed five weeks.  She is survived by her husband 
and one son; her aged father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. White; four 
brothers, John, Lewis, Benjamin and Charles White, all of whom reside 
in Huntingdon county except Charles, who lives in this city.  Also a 
sister, Mrs. Martha Yocum, who resides in Altoona.  The deceased was a 
devout Christian.  The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 
2:30.  The services will be held at the house and will be conducted by 
Rev. J. E. Bell, of the Eighth avenue Methodist church.
