ADA BENNETT, Wife of Harry Bennett, foreman of the Juniata erecting shops, died at 8 o'clock last evening at 1330 Spring Garden street, Philadelphia. She had been ailing for the past two months. When Mr. Bennett went to Philadelphia to superintend the construction of engines for the government at the Baldwin Locomotive works he took his wife and children with him. Not finding any relief in Philadelphia, Mrs. Bennett spent several weeks in Atlantic City, but returned to the Quaker City without having regained her health. She gradually grew worse until last evening, when she quietly passed away. Deceased was 42 years of age. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church of this city, and was a true Christian lady. She was happy only when performing some deed of kindness for the less fortunate in life. Quiet and unassuming she was beloved by all who knew her. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons - Raymond, Burton, William and Emory; also by one sister, Mrs. Annie Boyles, of this city. The remains will be brought here for interment.
