Bennett, wife of David H. Bennett, 2003 Twelfth avenue, died at a local hospital at 7:50 p.m., Tuesday, of an ailment characteristic of sleeping sickness. She had suffered periods of drowsiness since early last month and for the last week could not be roused enough to recognize anyone. She was born in Sugar Valley, Centre county, August 1, 1880, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wolf. Surviving are her parents, her husband, two sons, David, at home, and Paul W. of Altoona; five sisters, Mrs. Elva Glunt, Three Springs; and Helen Wolf, Mrs. Gretta Thorn, Mrs. Linnie Miller and Mrs. Rena Miller, all of Chicago, and four brothers, Russell, Alvin, Clair, and Roy Wolf, all of Chicago. She was a member of the First Lutheran church, the Eastern Star, the Dames of Malta and the Daughters of America. Altoona Tribune, February 16, 1928 MRS.
