Wife of Irving K. Bennett of 1506 First avenue, died at the Altoona hospital 
at 8.15 o'clock Saturday night of a cerebral hemorrhage after a few hours' 
illness.  She was born in Scotch valley on July 18, 1878, a daughter of 
Jonathan and Susan Edwards. Surviving are her husband, two daughters and one 
son, Mrs. H. F. Martin, Mrs. J. B. Stouffer and John B. McKamey; two sisters 
and two brothers, Mrs. Lucy Chubb of Juniata, Mrs. Olive Price of 
Williamsburg, Thomas Edwards of Six Mile Run and James Edwards of Burnham, and 
seven grandchildren. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the First Lutheran church.  
The body may be viewed at the home where funeral services will be held at 2.30 
o'clock Wednesday afternoon with her pastor, Rev. Luke H. Rhoads, 
officiating.  Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
