THE DEATH RECORD.
Anna Benson Dies of Lockjaw.

  Miss Anna Benson, aged 15 years, daughter of W. B. and Jessie Benson, 
died on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at her home in the East End, 
near Pottsgrove.  Some days ago she scratched her hand with a rusty 
nail.  The wound became sore and despite medical treatment tetanus or 
lockjaw resulted finally causing death.  Her funeral will take place at 
2 o'clock this afternoon and the interment will be made in Fairview 
cemetery.
