JAMES A. BENTON PASSES AWAY.

  At 10.45 o'clock yesterday morning James A. Benton died at the 
residence of Ella McCormick, 2120 Third avenue, of pneumonia.  Deceased 
was aged 47 years and 9 months.  He had been for a number of years 
employed in the Pennsylvania railroad yard.  He is survived by three 
children, Dolly, Lola and Thomas, of Altoona.  Interment will be made 
in Oak Ridge cemetery Wednesday.

FUNERAL NOTICE.

  The funeral of James Benton will take place from his late home, 2120 
Third avenue, this afternoon, services to be conducted at the house at 
2 o'clock.  Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
