Benton of East Mulberry street, died last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Schroeder of a complication, aged 70 years and 3 months. She was preceded to the grave by her husband, George R. Benton, twenty-one years ago. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Charles, Frank, George and Thomas, all of Hollidaysburg, Edward of Altoona, Raymond of Duncansville, Mrs. Sterley Arnold of Altoona and Mrs. Charles Schroeder of East Mulberry street at whose home she died. She was a life long member of St. Mary's church. There will be requiem high mass on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made at Newry after requiem high mass at St. Mary's church in Hollidaysburg.
