BENTON Mrs. Miriam Virginia Benton, wife of Johnson P. Benton, 1522 Eighth street, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, of a complication of diseases, at her home. She suffered a stroke in August 1917. She was born in Petersburg, Huntingdon county, November 12th, 1876. Her husband survives with a daughter, Miss Phyllis S., and two sons, Armour S., and Wray J., all at home. Two sisters, Mrs. G. W. Bales of Huntingdon and Mrs. Grant Miller, Petersburg, also survive. Mrs. Benton was a member of First Presbyterian church. Private funeral services will be held this evening at 7:30 o'clock at her late home. Tomorrow at 1:25 p.m. the body will be taken to Petersburg, for burial.
